Þetta verkefni óskar eftir liðsinni þínu: Raddir ungs fólks með erlendan bakgrunn – Inngilding í námi, starfi og samfélagi.

Verkefnið snýst um að greina þarfir ungs fólks af erlendum uppruna (18-35 ára) varðandi aðgengi að menntun, vinnumarkaði og öðrum sviðum samfélagsins. Rýnihópar verða haldnir á fimm stöðum á landinu þar sem 5-8 viðmælendur af erlendum uppruna tjá viðhorf sín og upplifun. 

Við erum að leita að viðmælendum sem eru: 

• á aldrinum 18-35 
• geta tjáð sig á íslensku eða ensku 
• hafa búið á Íslandi í 3 ár eða lengur 
• eru með íslenska kennitölu 

Við vonum að þú getir tekið þátt í verkefninu og komið í samtal sem mun taka um klukkustund. Samtölin fara fram í skrifstofum Austurbrúar: 

• á Reyðarfirði, Búðareyri 1 (Fróðleiksmolinn), þriðjudaginn 21. mars kl. 12:00. Hádegismatur í boði.
• á Egilsstöðum, Tjarnarbraut 39e (Vonarland), þriðjudaginn 21. mars kl. 16:00.

Verkefnastjórn: Raddir fólks með erlendan bakgrunn – Inngilding í námi, starfi og samfélagi er nýtt verkefni undir forystu Fræðslumiðstöðvar atvinnulífsins og Norræna tengslanetsins fyrir fullorðinsfræðslu í samvinnu við félags- og vinnumálaráðuneytið og mennta- og barnamálaráðuneytið. 

Trúnaður: Viðtalið verður tekið upp og afritað en nöfn og aðrar persónuupplýsingar koma hvergi fram. Óskað er eftir upplýstu samþykki allra þátttakenda og verður friðhelgi einkalífs gætt að fullu við meðferð, greiningu og eyðingu gagna í samræmi við gildandi lög (nr. 90/2018). 

Are you an immigrant or an Icelandic resident of foreign background?
Are you willing to participate in a focus group?

The project consists of analysing the needs of young people with a foreign background (18-35 years old) regarding access to education, the labour market, and other areas of society. Review meetings will be held in five locations in the country with 5-8 interviewees (focus group interviews) to highlight the viewpoints of young people with a foreign background. 

We are now looking for participants in the focus groups who are: 

• between the ages of 18-35 
• can express themselves in Icelandic or English 
• have lived in Iceland for at least three years 
• have an Icelandic personal ID number (kennitala) 

We hope that you will be able to participate in the project and come to a focus group interview which will take about an hour. The interview will be held in the offices of Austurbrú: 

• in Reyðarfjörður, Búðareyri 1 (Fróðleiksmolinn), Tuesday March 21st at 12:00. Lunch provided.
• in Egilsstaðir, Tjarnarbraut 39e (Vonarland), Tuesday March 21st at 16.

Project management: Voices of people with a foreign background – Inclusion in education, work, and society is a new project led by The Education and Training Service Centre and The Nordic Network for Adult Learning, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour and the Ministry of Education and Children’s Affairs. 

Confidentiality: The interview will be recorded and transcribed, but names and other personal information will not appear anywhere. Informed consent is requested from all participants and the protection of privacy will be fully taken care of during the treatment, analysis, and deletion of data in accordance with the current law (no. 90/2018).
